An exhibition of portrait paintings mediated by photographic source material

Sourcey Paintings is an investigation of the physical, material-based translations and significations that occur when painting portraits from photographs. These portrait paintings explore the translations and manifestations of trace and index of mark on the paintings' surfaces and their transcendence from their original photographic sources.
